The Model M983 is based on the military DoD nomenclature AN/PVS-18 used by U.S. special forces. The M983 is the most versatile night vision system available, offering hand-held capability as a self contained pocketscope, for left and right mounting as a monocular, and quick change mounting on weapons in conjunction with an infrared laser aimer. The M983 can also be used with a SLR camera, CCTV, or camcorder systems. Optional magnification of 3X, 4X & 6X objectives available to provide long range observation. |
